Dr Christine Wade

B.Med(Hons) FRACGP

Dr Christine Wade grew up in the Hunter Valley, NSW and graduated with Honours from University of Newcastle in 1986.

After completing General Practice examinations in 1990 she commenced practicing on the Central Coast. In 2004, Mountain Medicine was opened at Mangrove Mountain.

Dr Wade has particular interests in paediatrics and geriatrics, and has extensive post-graduate training in women’s health, obesity and skin cancers. Dr Wade is also highly experienced in preventative health aspects of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and asthma. Recently Mountain Medicine has been nominated as a teaching practice. Dr Wade enjoys her role as clinical tutor in mentoring young students from the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney.
