Dr Arsenios Magdas
Dr Arsenios Magdas is an approachable and inspiring general practice registrar who is passionate about serving his local Mangrove Mountain community. He has acquired a breadth of clinical knowledge and skills working as a GP Registrar on the Central Coast over the last 12 months. Prior to this he worked as a hospital doctor at St George Hospital and The Sutherland Hospital in Sydney (2020-2021) while working as a clinical tutor and examiner for medical students from the University of New South Wales.
Dr Magdas has completed a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2019 and a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales in 2014. He is enthusiastic about rural medicine, family medicine and chronic disease. In 2019, he completed a clinical placement abroad in a rural GP clinic on the outskirts of Athens, Greece. He has published research in Scientific Reports in 2019 in the field of Cardiovascular Disease. Dr Magdas is fluent in both English and Greek languages. He has recently moved to Mangrove Mountain 12 months ago and looks forward to offering his very best to his new local community.
